Jack Logan always feels dirty.
He knows it’s the guilt; the former money manager worked late one time too often, and it cost him his wife and unborn daughter. Now his life is a maddening series of cleanliness obsessions and rituals that alienate his friends and offer only the most fleeting sense of relief.
His compulsions, which have become unmanageably extreme, find a new channel when a postcard arrives in the mail: a girl who’s the very twin of his wife is missing.
Jack pours his obsession, grief, and dwindling sanity into finding the girl. Why would she run away? Why doesn’t her father seem to care? And why does his own sister-in-law care so much?
Jack’s search for a girl he’s never met takes him down dangerous streets to deeply shrouded corners of his wife’s past, where he uncovers a truth that both shatters his perception of reality and makes it whole again.
I can’t wait to read the book!!!!!
